They are recruiting an experienced Multi Skilled Grease Trap & Pump Technician to join a high‑performing technical team responsible for maintaining commercial and industrial wastewater systems across a nationwide estate.
Key responsibilities include:

Reporting to the Technician Team Leader and working within a multi‑skilled technical team.

Inspecting, pumping, cleaning, and maintaining commercial and industrial grease traps and wastewater systems across multiple sites.
-
Completing scheduled and emergency maintenance within agreed SLAs while minimising disruption to shop operations.
-
Identifying blockages, damage, or compliance issues through thorough inspections.
-
Operating vacuum pumps, hoses, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
-
Documenting all services performed, including measurements, waste volumes, and site conditions.
-
Ensuring waste materials are disposed of in line with regulations.
-
Unblocking toilets and sinks, and carrying out minor plumbing installations and repairs.

Supporting building fabric maintenance as requested by the facilities team.
-
Maintaining a clean, organised work area and ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly.

Working confidently at height and using a range of tools and equipment.
-
Using basic computer skills and handheld reporting devices.
-
Communicating effectively with shop teams and colleagues regarding progress and issues.
-
Travelling nationwide when required as part of a permanent, rota‑based role.

Working between 9-5.30 Monday to Friday

Have a clean driving licence

Work independently or collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Be comfortable with wastewater, grease, odours, and confined spaces.

Possess strong problem‑solving skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.

Communicate confidently with people at all levels.
