Within this Management Accounts role in London you will be working within a small finance team and reporting directly to the Head of Finance, your varied role will include:
- Preparation of the Management Accountants
- Preparation of the financial reports, budgets and forecasts
- Analysis of financial data and offering recommendations
- Working closely with the Head of Finance to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
- Implementation of changes and enhancements to financial and payroll systems.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of internal controls.
- Working closely with a variety of stakeholders outside of the finance team
- Acting as a mentor to the junior staff members within the team, taking on management responsibilities when needed
- Deputising for other team members to ensure the smooth running of the finance division at all times.
This Management Accountant role is a hybrid position, with at least 2 days per week working out of the impressive City office.
For this Management Accounts role based in London we are looking for:
- A qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with 2 years post qualification experience of working as a management accountant within a commercial business
- Experience of working in the recruitment or sales sector within accounts is preferable, though not essential
- A strong understanding and passion for systems, process improvement and analysis
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- A confident communicator, able to liaise at all levels
- Experience of working within a small or medium sized finance team
- Advanced Excel skills
